34 to 9 in a year
After getting my first handicap of 34 in 2021, I set myself the goal of reaching single figures within a year.
But with so much to improve, I had no idea where to focus first. And I quickly realised that spreading my effort across everything wasn’t moving the needle.
So I fell back on what I knew. Before golf took over my life, I spent years building products at tech startups in London and San Francisco – always using data to find where things weren’t working and fix them one at a time.
I applied the same thinking to my game. Where was I losing the most shots? What would have the biggest impact if I fixed it first?
One by one, I found the leaks. Worked on them. Moved to the next.
A year later I was a 9. Now I’ve built it so you can do the same.
